I was looking for a way to add a bubble level to my entry level bow tripod. There are many options if you want to buy a spirit level to attach to your camera's hot shoe, but I wanted to attach it to a tripod so I can level the tripod for video work. This is a great solution! It is simply attached to the B-pillar with a large rubber band. You can even leave it attached if you don't mind dropping the B-pillar all the way down. You do not need a bow tripod for this. Any tripod will do. Even if your center post is too small for a rubber band, it's easy to come up with an impromptu way to hold it up. But I have to say, buy them while you can. Some suppliers no longer have them and I couldn't find them on the Mandrotto website. Apparently they are no longer made. I bought two!
