The threads on this one are absolutely accurate and it makes the whole process a lot easier for us than it was when we had to carefully maneuver a razor blade under the IHS. Using this along with Conductonaut Liquid Metal on-chip and Kryonaut as my regular thermal paste dropped the temperature on my overclocked i7-8700k by over 20 degrees. This is because I even upped the overclock by another 300MHz, going from 4.8 for all OC cores to 5.1 and after 15 minutes of Aida64 my temps didn't surpass 65C.
