Review on Nikon ACULON 10 22X50 Binoculars Harness by Ada Szewczyk ᠌

The product is really good, I'm glad I purchased it.

at low magnifications, the binoculars do not justify themselves because of the small field, and for high magnifications, you need large lenses and fix the binoculars on a tripod. Pros below: + the assembly is good, the quality is felt. + there is an L-adapter for a tripod + acceptable eye relief at all magnifications (9.8mm). + There are no complaints about the mechanics of zoom and focus. + sufficient depth of focus for myopia. (at -6 you can watch). Cons: - the main disadvantages are a small field of view at low magnifications (10-12x) and a lack of lens diameter at high magnifications (18x-22x) with other disadvantages logically arising from this (hand shaking, blackouts, decrease in image brightness). and now let's look at this in more detail. - at 10x the visual field of view (or visual angle of view, not to be confused with the angle of view and with the linear field of view at 1000m) is quite small - 36 degrees - you look like through a keyhole. as the zoom increases, the field of view also increases - up to about 60 degrees at 22x. - at magnifications greater than 16x, the comfort of observation decreases - trembling of the hands affects and side black lights appear - black-outs (you see a black background when the binoculars move from the center of the pupil). blackouts are typical for binoculars with a small exit pupil. you can use an adapter - but that's another story. - and of course, the brightness of the picture drops at large zooms. - Well, and all sorts of minor flaws: - Case without belt. - zoom determines very careful use of binoculars - there is no soft special material for wiping lenses in the kit (I did not find it) . - this binoculars, unlike other Sharks, has conventional non-adjustable rubber eyecups. this slightly reduces the comfort of observation for people with a sick difference in vision in the left and right eyes. (one of the eyepieces will have to be pressed into the skin, while the other will hang out).
