They were perfect for my use. I sew clothes for Barbie dolls. I mostly crochet clothes. They are so small that they fit perfectly around Barbie's waist. I crochet around them and they become an elastic waistband for skirts, dresses, leggings, shorts, lingerie, etc. They also serve as finishing bands for tops and swimwear. I love making these doll clothes while listening to podcasts. I am putting together a Barbie wardrobe for my granddaughter. I'm sure they would also make great hair ties. They are soft and the colors I received are beautiful: pink, purple, green. I also bought some elastics from Goody, they are a bit bigger, a bit big for barbie's waist but they match the tops. Their quality is on par with the Goody brand and you get a lot more bang for your buck.
