This yarn is good for beginners or people who are short on money but want to crochet for therapeutic purposes. For me personally it's very scratchy and I can't stand it for too long before I need to put it on (which may be because I've started using higher quality thread though). As said, this is great for beginners, but also very good for much larger projects where you just don't have the money to spend a few skeins of expensive yarn. A good tip for softening this yarn to look like your higher quality yarn is to take your finished piece and soak it in conditioner water for a few hours, then rinse and dry. I've used this technique and it works wonders!
