This card reader works perfectly. But it's more than me though it would be. Yes, I read before ordering that the dimensions are 1.2" x 3.5". But when it arrived I was surprised at how much larger it is compared to other card readers I've used. Before placing an order you can cut the sheet of paper to these dimensions to get a better idea of its physical size. Pros: 1. Works great. I had no problems with the work of the reader.2. The card can be carried in the device. And once the disc is inserted, the cover at the end closes and helps protect the card. There is also a cover that covers the USB port. Note. There are no rubber seals, so don't assume your card or reader will be protected if you drop it in water. The lids can at best offer some protection from dust or if you drop the reader on the floor. CONS: 1. That's more than most readers. However, you can not consider this as a problem.2. To use this device, you must first open the cover, insert the card, close the cover, and then open the cover that covers the USB port. These steps must be followed in reverse order to remove your card. It's not that difficult but requires some extra steps compared to other card readers that don't have internal card storage.3. This reader supports two different types of cards and you should pay attention to the labels on each side of the device. Otherwise you could try to insert the card upside down. Some card readers I've used have an audible "click" and a positive feel when the card is properly inserted. Not so with this reader. When inserting a card, it only works smoothly. And whether you've fully inserted the card is a bit vague. FINAL THOUGHTS: As I said, this works well. However, I sent it back because I found it to be bulky and a bit awkward to use. However, if getting an internal card reader is your top priority, this could be a good choice.
