Review on Efficient OXO Good Grips Large Salad Spinner - 6.22 Qt. for Easy Salad Preparation by Scott Carlile

I have had the original OXO salad bowl for many years and love it. When it finally broke down, I thought this new and improved version would be even better. No! i really hate this The greens don't get nearly as dry no matter how many times I turn them. The push button brake requires more pressure to stop rotation compared to the old OXO. After washing, the parts dry for a very long time in my dishwasher. And when I dropped the lid on the tiled floor, a large piece of wood broke. I'm still finding pieces all over the room. The old OXO fell several times and survived. One positive thing I can say is that attaching the top to the base is much quicker than the old one. Thanks Revain for helpful reviews.
