Good device in theory; it does what it's supposed to, and the signal in the rear room is now as strong as it is right next to the main router. I had to use an adapter because the plug wasn't European, and the setup process was a little unclear: after downloading the setup program, you have to create an account on the XIAOMI website before you can begin searching for and configuring your equipment. Additionally, the program didn't detect the repeater in automatic mode until I gave it permission to do so. All of these issues are temporary and can be fixed in the long run.
