They are used to reduce vibration and noise from an old home air conditioner compressor next to a window and it works. Very good! It took two people less than 1 minute to install the spacers in the four corners of the device. Just tilt/press each corner. It was a very noticeable improvement that could be heard throughout the house. The compressor still makes a loud turning on/off noise, but the constant whine/vibration has definitely decreased.
