I've used it twice already. One night to strain a 3lb batch of pasta and the second time another night to strain a 5lb pot of ground beef. We cook for a large family and also invite entire sports teams from our children to dinner. These sieves sit firmly on the pan and do not slip. Both times they were easy to use and worked well. They are also very easy to care for and take up practically no storage space. This is a great product and already worth what it cost me.
