First of all I am typing on this keyboard when I am doing this review. I waited about two weeks before leaving a review to see if I liked it. But it's not perfect. First the good: the keys are pleasant to press. The long drive and comfortable return helped my typing speed a bit. On the other hand, the round buttons are a bit damaged. LAUGH OUT LOUD. As I've gotten more accurate I'm pretty much back to where I was and expect to improve. I just went to typingtest.com and did a quick 2 minute test and got 71 wpm. I think a few more weeks and I'll be back to normal. A bit of context. I'm 61 years old, a trained typewriter and spent a lot of time with those old battle-worn IBM (now Unicomp) keyboards. It is better. more fluid. Smoother action. better come back In addition, it is beautiful to look at. Multimedia function keys, menu key, other alternative function keys, etc. work. I really like the placement of the navigation buttons (arrows) as they are low and close to the hand. The keyboard is solid and very nicely finished. The fit and finish is excellent and the look is unique. The keys make a nice clicking sound that might bother someone if you're in an open office or farm. If you're in the office, don't worry, I don't think so. Well, not so good: I'd like the home/delete/etc buttons to be a bit lower on the board (the logo could be above). Although this disturbs the design a bit, it improves the performance since the keys can be reached with the little finger. Also, I don't like using the FN key and F key at the same time to use the media controls. It would be nice if there was a simple user-side mapping that allows you to easily increase, decrease and mute the sound with the F-keys. Yes, this is definitely a first world problem. :-) Adjusting the rear feet to raise the pitch of the keyboard is not smooth enough and in my opinion not sufficient. Reading the description I felt I could take it a bit and I was really looking forward to this aspect of the product and was disappointed. It's quite a thick keyboard and would be useful regardless of the wrist rest that came with it (and I use it). I also don't like that the Num Lock indicator stays on forever (unless he dies an agonizing death after giving his last while on duty). It would be really nice if you could turn that off. I don't know many people who disable their keyboard and use an alternate layout, although I'm sure they did, which is why I suggest the Switch option. And finally $100 for Bluetooth? For real? Serious? I bet the dongle and electronics cost no more than the very good braided cable that comes with this board. Serious. I can't believe the wireless version costs another $100. And you know what? I would pay but you are sold out here at Revain and on your Azio website. A shame. So I gritted my teeth and bought one with a cable, which I think goes against everything. Just kidding (just about faith). So to sum it up, a very good keyboard that I enjoy typing on and wish it was wireless and it had a light that didn't go out. The rest is almost perfect.
