I was concerned as the only rating for them was 1 star. But I couldn't find a replacement, I decided to try. It turns out they are well designed and should work well if assembled with some care. My application is a remote reading angle indicator on a tractor front loader bucket - this makes it much easier to level the ground accurately. When replacing a shovel with a front-mount snow thrower, the wiring must be disconnected. There are four water seals, the middle two are washers and the outer two are grommets split to bypass the pre-wired (plugged in) wires. The bushings are tightened in the sleeve and against the wire by a conical collet on the inside of the end cap, so it is very important that the end caps are held tight to ensure an effective seal. A small amount of silicone grease (or other dielectric electronics-grade grease - don't use petroleum grease!), although not really necessary, makes the assembly waterproof, which can be submerged several feet. Mine was only meant to withstand rain and the occasional wash. A good product!
