This set is very good value for money. Buying these items individually would easily cost you double or triple as my research showed, so it wasn't difficult. I used cotton for the design. We rode perfectly! The only gripe is that technically this isn't a complete set. While the Mod Podge acts as a seal, it does not protect against water! let me repeat. NO WATER PROTECTION. It's basically like glue, so as soon as water hits these coasters (as you'd expect since the whole purpose of the coaster is to protect the tabletop from being damaged by water from a cup, etc.), its backing becomes sticky. The same goes for a cup of hot coffee. My glass mug of condensation stuck to it when I picked it up after placing it on the stand. And I read online that coffee and tea stain them and make it impossible to get off. So definitely buy a paint! I'm cheap and didn't want to buy so I applied several coats of good quality clear nail polish I had laying around. Did the job complete.
