What attracted me wasn't the price but the functionality of the clip, but the "clips" on this tie are fragile and don't clip like they do should Over time the tie would come loose from the collar with both sides from time to time, sometimes on one side after the collar was refastened, and then on the other side. The tie was great, wearing a tie is not so good. I would happily pay for a functional fly clip
