So far the lens is working very well for my purposes ie photographing the night sky. I'm not posting pictures because I'm testing in my garden right now. The only problem was that the lens cap didn't close properly. He clicked, but comes off with a click again. I contacted Dodd Camera's supplier and they responded quickly with a solution: you need to rotate the cover clockwise a little until it clicks into place. Strange, but now everything is fine!
