I have used these mugs on three different projects. Mixing resin for pen blanks, mixing silicone for making, and then a second type of resin for casting molds I made. Resins can vary, but the two resins I currently use are measured by volume rather than weight, making these mugs a great option for me. Several different measurement types (cups, oz and ml) up to 1 cup, 8 oz and 230 ml. The cups are clearly marked with numbers and dashes. The key to working with resins is that there are no indentations or ridges on the inside to prevent the necessary scraping step on the sides when mixing the resin to ensure complete blending. Unfortunately I received a couple of other graduated measuring cups from Revain that said they were designed for resin but had significant protrusions on the inside that made it impossible to scrape the sides to ensure the correct combination of resin and hardener. They worked great with silicone and were easy to remove once cured. With one of the resins, I was unable to remove the resin from the cup after it had cured. I wish there was an improvement on the cups. As I often work on a variety of projects including resin and acrylic pen blanks and cubes, I often work with different color combinations and like to mix up all the resin I need and then break it down into smaller pieces to add colour. . For one of the batch pours I did, I used a total of 5 ounces of resin and hardener, which equals 2.5 ounces of resin and hardener each. Unfortunately, there are no half measures in ounces or cups, and there wasn't an exact equivalent in ml, so I had to mix in more than I needed to get an accurate mix. Overall I am very happy with this product and think it would be perfect if half ounces and cups were added.
