Review on πŸ“Ά 4G Wireless Hotspot - CLEAR Spot Voyager IFM-910CW by Corey Randolph

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well. Just not everywhere.

Check clear.com to see if service is available in your area before purchasing. The maps are fairly accurate, but the fringes may need some tweaking to find the sweet spot. The speeds are good. I can usually download around 4 Mbps. I've seen faster and slower but that's average. The download speed is capped at 1Mbps, so that's the maximum you'll get. At vulnerabilities, download speed is affected more than upload speed. The router is versatile and stable. Wi-Fi range is also good (choose short, medium, or long). The battery life is at least six hours. The device is quite small and slightly bulbous, so be careful not to slip it out of your pocket or off sloping surfaces. Clear has the best prices and while the customer service isn't perfect, it's better than two years ago. about "unlimited data" is fine. In certain circumstances, Clear will restrict access, so read the user agreement on their website to see if it works for your needs. Considering the limitations of other providers, Clear still has the best deal. Overall it is well designed and well made. If Clear had service in more areas it would deserve five stars.
