I was skeptical when I got it. For some reason I thought they were going to be a lot smaller and then they appear and become HUGE. My typical painting size is 8x8 or smaller, so I don't need huge brushes. But I was wrong. I need these brushes like air. The 10th and 12th rounds are so ridiculously sharp that I was able to bring out the smallest details of the owl drawing I was working on (see video screenshot of my Instagram stories). It's amazing how detailed it can be. The final painting will be done on 8x8 inch paper so you can see how tiny I managed to capture all the details. I used the 10th and 12th rounds for the bird and the large flat one for the background. It takes a minute for the gum arabic to soak in before use, but it was worth the wait. I like the resiliency of the brushes and how well the bristles fan out when applying large strokes. I'm a fan. 100% worth every cheap penny.
