Broken Velcro
Although this pair sat comfortably on my son for about a month and a half, the Velcro stopped working in less than 60 days. It wasn't from overuse and the velcro had no laces or other things, it just stopped sticking to itself. We couldn't figure it out, but luckily the fit was snug enough with elastic laces and held up well. The velcro just kept flapping as he ran and that should have been a trip hazard. I was very upset because they worked so well initially.
