The dealer in Hempstead, NY cut the key wrong but I was not charged. The dealer in Rockville Center, New York, carved a key into the second remote but wanted to charge $99 upfront to bind the frequency to save money even if the connection didn't work. So I went back to the dealer in Hempstead and asked them to bind the remote (successfully) for just $75 plus tax. MORAL - this product works great but beware of greedy traders.
