I should have read the previous reviews better before buying. cable) on my multimeter there was no electrical continuity in either direction. Unless I can trust the case to properly ground a shielded cable, I highly doubt it will actually protect as advertised. But strangely I bought two of these modules a month ago and now this item is no longer available. Shows how easy it is for bad products to slip into the market and how slow Amazon is at protecting consumers. 0/10 I would not recommend this product to anyone.
