Overall I want to start with it working. He does what he says. However, unless you do super slow hair removal like you do with laser hair removal - by staying in one spot for a few seconds - slowly, yes, then you have to go over the same spots over and over again. When I first used it, I did it on bare skin. Because of their sensitivity, I got a lot of bumps on my feet. I get pretty severe folliculitis on my legs in the warmer months after shaving. BUT then I tried to hit, I mean I covered my feet in baby powder and the car slid with no problem. I use it persistently every day and after two weeks of use I can't even see my hair growing even though it is. Just very thin. It is great! I have thick dark Italian body hair. I always powder my skin before and after use and it helps sooo much. There may be a few strokes here and there, but as you keep using it you'll gradually get the spots you originally missed, and since you're grabbing fewer hairs at a time you'll have a lot fewer strokes at once. And noticeably less hair even after missed spots, because most of it was plucked out. I wish there was more surface area, I don't quite get the point of the vibrating pads which I didn't even know existed until I discovered them. But for the price it works. And if you're persistent, patient, and just plain tired of body hair, that's great. I will also say that when you first use it, it feels like the beginning of a tattoo. But after you've done it for a few minutes each time, it's like a tweezer or two since you're only missing yesterday's hair, so it doesn't mean anything. I'm glad I no longer have to manually pluck my PCOS lucky sign and for the first time in my life I can have strawberry legs without strawberries and I can't shave at all as there is no longer a 'visible' hair. The battery does die after most of a leg due to the repetitive nature of the machine, but it charges relatively quickly, giving my skin time to settle between uses. (every hour or so until you're done)
