Salicylic acid has always worked well for me, some brands more than others. This is the best thing I've ever tried, I've never let a brand work so thoroughly with just one app. I only use the affected areas when necessary and small pimples/blackheads disappear within a few hours. Other brands have taken longer or multiple uses to work as well as Alba Botanica has worked for me. It is completely transparent and light, has a slightly medicinal but still pleasant odor that quickly dissipates. Highly recommended!
