It's an overpriced piece of metal, but you'll save hundreds of dollars if you repair the cylinder yourself. So you can easily open the cylinder in a few minutes and reassemble it with confidence. Of course you can just return it after using it once, but I really don't mind leaving it for next time or for a friend in a bind. It's worth the money because I didn't waste time putting it on and scratching the aluminum.
