When you buy glitter shoes, you also buy kiwi spray

I bought shiny red shoes (a la Dorothy and her ruby red slippers) for my girl. However, when first worn, they've lost so much shine along the heel seam and edges of the upper that you can see the material underneath. The glitter fell off my fingers as I held the shoes. Very disappointing. HOWEVER, this can be corrected by spraying Kiwi 'Camp Dry' waterproofing spray onto the shoes. I stuffed the shoes with newspaper, sprayed them on and let them air out overnight, since then they've been shining.
