so i bought this in lei to save a dollar or two on buying a double lamp socket from repti zoo but unfortunately i had to get a double lamp socket from repti zoo although the quality doesn't match what was said, the reason for my bad rating is that there is a bit of sag/band give at the back of the tank, i use mini 5.5 lamp housing so the smaller of the bunch! I was initially excited about this product but on my 40 gallon grower it doesn't put out the light where it should because the hanger is so short. All in all I thought it would be the perfect solution but in the end it was a failure. Perhaps a 20 gallon length would be better, but going up to 40 gallons or more isn't an option. I'm disappointed I spent money on this when I could have bought a dual holder. Instead, I make sure to use it for my micro gecko enclosure. That would be great.
