Review on ENERLITES Unbreakable Polycarbonate Thermoplastic SI8834 W by Darrin Parasson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Clean look. Great price

All my inserts are slowly being replaced with screwless ones. Looks a lot cleaner. It has a glossy finish, is easy to install with pre-installed screws, and is great value for money. It's flexible, so if your wall isn't perfectly flat, it'll seal gaps better than traditional panels. I bought a Lutron Clara before seeing the brand and I like the cleaner look better, but that's no big deal. They're both actually very similar (two-piece edge) but cost less. The Enerlites' mounting plate has visible shallow notches (also on the underside) to tuck the face away, unlike the Lutron, which is completely smooth on all sides. BUT, Lutron costs anywhere from $2 to $5 more for each disk. I will probably replace the rest of my house with these Enerlites due to the lower cost. Update: I've bought other sizes of Enerlights, single and 2,3 gang platters and they look different than this 4 gang platter. They don't have a two-piece hem, they have a one-piece hem. I think that in my opinion the 2-piece edge looks better and gives it a unique look, so I'm disappointed that the other Enerlights size plates don't look the same as the 4-speed version. Everything seems inconsistent.
