I have used this salmon oil on my three dogs. One senior has joint and skin problems and all three have thick double coats. Obviously all three love this material very much. I give them 4 portions of food every morning and their excitement about it hasn't diminished one bit. The smell is clean and fresh, like a salmon fillet, and the bottle is brilliantly designed. It is made of aluminum and comes sealed with a rubber stopper and plastic wrap. Once you remove them, the pump definitely stands up and has two positions - blocked and open. So once you start using the supplement, just twist the pump head to block the air. Fish oil loses its potency when exposed to air and light, so this is a really excellent design. The oil itself is made from Norwegian salmon and is of human quality. I have noticed less dry skin and more alertness in my older dog. And surprisingly less of the dog smell that often emanates from yeast. Highly recommended!
