I measured the graduations with a $300 Mitutoyo caliper and everything was accurate to within the first millimeter. The first millimeter is 0.3mm shorter, but every second millimeter mark is accurate. I didn't measure imperial measurements but I have no reason to believe they would be wrong. The graduation isn't very deep, but it's engraved, which seems hard to find on a scale as cheap as this. . Imperial to metric conversion on the back is a nice touch.
