Review on ๐Ÿ‘” Men's Accessories: Canvas Flip Top Belt with Brushed Silver Nickel Finish by Andrew Dinelli

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I wanted and at a great price

This is the perfect rendition of my favorite everyday style with jeans. I prefer this canvas (as well as military belts - or at least those in the 1980's) to the stiffer nylon. [IMHO it's too flexible for concealed carry, however.] The tarpaulin wears out quicker, but at this price point, so what. I'll probably order a few more now knowing they're exactly what I wanted, no problem. If you have flair, flexible canvas is more convenient. I'm pretty sure it's not 100% cotton, but read on to see why it's not that bad. Unlike all the roller buckles I've tried, this vintage prong deployant clasp doesn't slip - not at all. je. It also has a thinner profile, so it doesn't protrude far enough to cause the aforementioned guts discomfort. And for those who, like some of the previous reviewers, have obviously never had one of these, please read the following before awarding a one-star belt out of ignorance. DO NOT cut the metal end to shorten the strap. Remove the buckle and cut off this end. Also, for those who complain that the worn canvas makes it difficult to reinsert the strap into the buckle, this is an easy fix. There is enough synthetic material in the canvas that you can use a lighter on the just cut end to prevent fraying and also make it easier to reinsert the cut end into the buckle.
