I made a purchase a few months ago thinking I might need parts at some point in the future but I was in for a nasty surprise. I've recently started using these blades, but last week I noticed that the base of both of these items had noticeable cracks. I have stopped using these blades because they pose a serious physical safety hazard! Both of these parts have cracks that look permanent and indicate poor quality plastic composition and/or poor manufacturing. We strongly advise against purchasing this product if safety and durability are important to you.
