The intent "brighter" does not mean "bluer" or "whiter". Just because they are blue at the tip of a refractor does not change color. Too much confusion with the color, the higher it is, the brighter it doesn't get. You want under 4400K or less (yellow) to get through the fog. These fog lights are rated for 4300K. You'll thank yourself when you can see the road on a stormy day when you read true reviews from real people. 4800k-5000k is stock white. From 6000 to 8000 K - blue. I'm still not sure what 100% brighter means, but they're new, so crisp(?). Ask to adjust the lamps (wider/narrower) when inspecting the car.
