In terms of Wi-Fi signal, this router is great. I chose Netgear because it has Circle parental controls built in. My previous Netgear had it built in, and built in is much more secure because there is no external circle block to disable and bypass parental controls. The aspect of the RAX80 router is great. However, something is wrong with the implementation of Circle Parental Controls. There were devices on my network that Circle was unaware of. Stopping the entire network allows those devices to continue accessing the network. Additionally, from time to time the unmanaged devices would stop or I would get a message that a low-level filter was applied and I couldn't access the websites I needed to work. Disabling parental controls fixed everything. So I was hoping the support team could help. They weren't very helpful because even though it was a refurbished product with a 90 day hardware warranty and 90 day tech support, the tech support said I was overdoing it. support period. The router is only a few days old and since it was fixed everyone who had it before the fix has already registered it. I finally managed to resolve the support availability issue, but they were unable to offer me any help in resolving my issues. Tech Support is a call center in India where help desk agents follow scripts; no real knowledge. In any case, the problem persists so it's coming back and I'll be looking at the AX11000 offerings from Asus and TP-Link to replace it.
