These are very soft and well fitting sweatpants. My son is a size 9 and hard to find but these pants fit him perfectly and allow some room for growth. The pockets are so big they are perfect for stashing random items he finds. The quality/feel of the pants is really good and I think they will hold up well. The inner fleece is a bit thicker than I'm used to on his pants and he noticed the difference. So if your child is more sensitive to the feel of the clothes, there might be something to consider.
