The outside simulated book cover is not bad with the look and feel close to a real book. But the binding of the safe is only secured to the safe with a large strip of double sided tape which lost its adhesiveness almost immediately after opening and closing it a few times. Also, the enclosure of the actual safe is somewhat thin and flimsy. It's not a bad item as long as you dont intended to use it to secure something that you would in a traditional safe. It's more of a diversion to secure something. The lock and thin metal are not tight and secure. It's not bad and depends on what you intend to place inside
