I was hoping for this product based on my experience with another product from this manufacturer (paper towel holder) but unfortunately I was disappointed. The device consists of two parts, which allows it to be transported in a smaller box for ease of use. The tape measure holder, in particular, isn't welded to the back, and the fasteners are extremely flimsy - to the point where they fall apart and detach from the panel (ruining your work surface in the process). This unfortunate situation is compounded by the fact that the tape measure holder is too small for my Stanley tape measure and the back of the unit is too small to accommodate a utility knife, both of which scrape paint/lock up storage tools. TO THE MANUFACTURER: Release the new model as soon as possible! Expand the back and front dimensions of the front and back pieces by 1/4" each, then WELD the two pieces together. Then a spring for a larger box to hold it.
