Review on 🖤 BDF BLKT Window Film Blackout Privacy (36" x 6Ft) - Ultimate Darkness and Privacy Solution for Windows by Melanie Harris

I am compelled to write this review now after being very happy with the product for more than two years because it was a NIGHTMARE to remove. The product essentially broke when trying to remove it, leaving sticky adhesive and black paint on the window. It took hours to rub down with denatured alcohol to remove, but black paint bled onto the lower sill and surrounding frame. Also, the sticky, sticky substance was very difficult to pick up and would stain anything it touched. like that . . . Maybe we didn't use the best method to remove it (who knows?), but I certainly didn't expect such an ordeal. We ended up having to repaint part of the windowsill. Long story short, it lifted up easily and worked well enough, but my goodness, it's really hard to remove.
