Yes it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Even my electrician commented on how strong and heavy this mirror was and if I'm not mistaken it's made in the USA. Don't be fooled by a cheap Chinese cat product that looks identical for a fraction of the cost. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, SO DON'T WORRY!
