This kit contains everything needed to completely replace the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets on a 2000 Ford 4.0L OHV V6. Use caution when tightening new gaskets and follow the sequence outlined in the factory manual, but use the torque settings listed on the FelPro kit insert. This is important as the factory uses a different one-piece bottom seal and FelPro uses a superior two-piece design. These engines are very prone to intake gasket leaks from the factory, and the FelPro's two-piece design is an attempt to remedy that. Since the seal design is different, so are the torque specs, so save that little piece of paper from the kit and use those specs instead of the factory specs. Also note that you will need the RTV pipe included in the kit to complete the bottom manifold seal on the front and rear of the unit. Upon installation it resolved my Bank1 and Bank2 poverty conditions and turned off the check engine light.
