First use of this type of tool. I did some research on YouTube and watched a MotorTrend TV show that used a similar product. Looks like I can do the same. It was a little difficult to use it the first time. I wiped the area but not with alcohol as recommended. Adhesive residue difficult to remove. This actually happened when I rubbed it with my fingers and created some friction. Then I found some alcohol and it worked amazingly. Something still stuck. My next try, I will go ahead and wash and wax the area. The glue does its job and is easier to wash off. I'm sure that. Parts of a dent were sanded down a few weeks ago to reveal the ripples. It was difficult to figure out where to place the gluing tools. I am happy with the results. In some places I have to use the "No Dent Tools" that look like curved rods to completely smooth out what they couldn't remove. The wire tools couldn't pull out some of my dents because they had a very hard dent/dent that had to be pushed out first. My largest dent actually made a popping sound as the metal snapped back to its original shape. I didn't get a picture of it because I seriously thought this tool isn't the right tool. It was! The tool has footrests that slide in and out of the dent hole. You can place one closer and one further away from the dent to create the right angle to draw the dent in her memory. Steel has memory, and you pull just enough to snap it back to its original shape. I need more practice, but I can see that I'm actually charging money to fix my friend's door. I will hone my new skills with three of my own vehicles. Actually, I'm thinking about selling one of them after that. The parking lot gets dented easily but once polished it looks fantastic. It's a dark blue Toyota. I can ask for a little more than I hoped. I'll be ordering more of those pucks that you tape to your body. I was able to use four of these together to get my big bump out. Keep it simple by using the drag tool. You don't have to pull the capsule. You want to tug at it gently so the metal remembers its shape. If you pull too hard, you can pull out the dent and leave a small spike. I did this on the first dent but used a plastic scribe to gently hammer/push it back in. Looks almost perfect. It's in a spot where it's hard to see. Completely satisfied with this product! I can negotiate the price of the next car if it has a lot of dents on the doors!
