This did the job perfectly and I had no problems with it. It wasn't too painful; Pierced ears were much worse. Many years ago I had a nose piercing done by a professional with a needle. It's less painful than that. Unfortunately, the hairpin is sharp, making it almost impossible to wash and blow your nose as it pierces the inside of the nose and causes pain. I endured it for exactly a month and today I changed the rings, but in fact it is not necessary to change the ring in the nose until 3 months have passed. I'm taking off 1 star because it's so sharp and will need to be replaced sooner than is safe. A better design would be to make the sharp tip detachable and replace it with a bullet. However, he did get the job done when there were no open piercings during the pandemic and I had no problem with inflammation from the jewelry.
