I'm a fan of the Songmics brand - everything I've ordered from them has been at fair prices and high quality. However, these cubes had me dancing with technical delight. I assumed the doors wouldn't close well, so I intended to install the doors on top to open like a garage door. Instead there is a small plastic triangle with a hook that hooks onto the door frame to keep it closed (see image). Absolutely brilliant! I bought three sets - a regular wire set, a chicken wire set and this plastic one. I used mesh squares for the bottom of each cube, regular squares for the back, plastic squares for the sides, and blank frames (I cut the plastic from the square plastic frame) in the center to hold the device in place (see image). This combination of blocks allowed me to build EXACTLY what I wanted and it looks great! The block needs to be square so the doors will line up properly - pay attention to each connector and make sure it is driven all the way in (there is a rubber mallet available). packed up). Also, I recommend using needle nose pliers to fit the doors into the slots to keep the doors sitting straight. I am very happy with it.
