Decent elevators, with one caveat.
Not bad in general. They aren't as strong as other reviews have claimed and they don't raise the tailgate as much or as quickly as the reviews do. Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. But the bolts that attach them to the body are pretty cheap and flimsy. One of the screws was tight but continued to spin freely until it broke! Now I have to pay my shop to drill and rethread it so I can use the original Subaru bolt. Again, these elevators are decent, but not great. If you buy them, reuse the factory mounting screws whenever possible.
