I don't actually have any pets, but my children have accidents Despite the mattress pad and cleaning the mattress with a hood, the bed still smelled of urine. I've tried the trick before from bissell odor and stain removers to baking soda vinegar and expensive cleaners. I used it on a mattress and after an hour of soaking, the smell was completely gone. It still smells fresh the next day and the smell hasn't returned like other products. I would definitely recommend it for smelly odors on upholstery or carpets! For pets and even humans!
