I recently found out that I am allergic to horsehair and that it is sometimes used in makeup brushes. I had allergy symptoms in my eyes and always blamed eyeshadow, mascara, shit, I even went crazy trying to figure out if it was eyeliner. But after learning about it, I had to get rid of at least $200 in "professional" and brand name brushes. I bought these and honestly wasn't expecting much, but today I used them for the first time and LOVE THEM! I also have very sensitive skin and they are so soft that they don't irritate it. This set had all the brushes I needed to replace. First, they're very soft, so if your eyeshadow is packed very tightly, it can be a bit difficult to get a good amount. But other than that I love them and will be using this brand from now on!
