This was our first use of compostable bags. We use bags to line the stainless steel compost bin. They do their job but we found a couple of major issues: 1. About 1-3 pouches in the box are not made properly and rip when you try to open them. Maybe we just have a bad batch but losing 1/3 of a box is costly and we will try another brand in the future. bag sweat. Whenever we take a full bag out of the bin, there is always a layer of liquid left covering the sides and bottom of the bin. As this is our first time using compostable bags, we're not sure if this is a common problem. We try not to put wet items in the bags to avoid liquid pooling at the bottom. Bottom line: you can probably find better compostable bags. We appreciate that these pouches are packaged in a single recyclable/compostable box.
