We have a large backyard and our wired double lamp floodlights, which are mounted over our back patio, simply don’t shine into all the corners and nooks we’d like it to. When our dogs are out on a moonless night there’s no way to see them when they venture too far from the house and even though the yard is fenced, we don’t like them out of our sight.We purchased this light last summer to cover the largest "problem area” in our yard, it’s about 80 x 40 feet of lawn that has no lighting at all. The install was simple and took about 15 minutes, most of which was spent trying to capitalize on the suns rays and finding the best angle. Once up and charged, and doing some tweaking to get the best coverage, the light output was exceptional.The entirety of our problem area is fully illuminated and there are no dark pockets of space. After nine months of use the light hasn’t diminished and we are still happy. We do have the solar panel where it gets full sun for probably 6-7 hours so I can’t attest to its power or longevity in lower light areas but we’ve never seen it dim once.We are now buying a second light to cover another area of our front yard.
