They are good quality and exactly the same as the originals in my closet (house built in '91). The only possible problem is that they will stop working if your stylus is already bent/sagging to a significant extent. Some of me have done just that (which led me to look for those very hard to find braces). I don't want to remove and/or replace all the dowels - I just want to add extra support. I've noticed something similar with the same mount but without the screws (those screws still seem useless since they're so short) from Knape & Vogt for $5 cheaper. I ordered several and found that the hooks on them were a bit longer than on these. They would be too long for the dowel to rest against them. I started going back but then quickly thought of sagging dowels and realized that longer hooks (Knape & Vogt) might be ideal for them as those areas need a bit more length. Ideal! So I'm saving some of these. They fit over half my rods perfectly, and others offer extra support where you (extremely) need it. Just a suggestion. Just order from each to get started if you're unsure, and see whether or not you can actually use both types - and how much.
