To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the $30 I spent on this player. I had an LP that I needed to convert to MP3 because my father sang on it and I wanted it to be preserved as he had already passed away. It worked like a charm. It came with a cable to plug it directly into my laptop and use the software, but to be honest I had better luck with the USB drive that came with the player. I didn't have to mess with audio equalizers or anything like that. You just wrote everything down. If you want something economical and no frills but with great results then I highly recommend this USB player.
