Review on Moeller 033500 12 Aluminum Fuel Pick Up by Shawn Quick

I bought a pair of these to use on some aluminum fuel tanks I've built and they work great. It's a little misleading that it says they have 1/4" NPT threads, but that's referring to the fuel line connection, not the tank connection, which has 3/8" NPT threads. The finish on the part is good, the threads are very faithful, the pickup tube uses a type of plastic that has been very strong so far and is easily cut to length. There is no filter at the end of the pipe which is a plus for me as I prefer dirt to be trapped in my downstream glass filter where it is easy to see and remove.
